Hi all! Has anyone taken the CNOR exam this year? If so, any recommendations? There are no stats on the CCI website. Would appreciate some feedback regarding questions/your feeling about it, etc. I'm taking it next week!! Thanks!!

I am getting my packet together, and am also applying for OR. My recruiter wanted me to submit for the August board, but I'm sitting for my CNOR this month so am delaying until next board selection (January?). Good luck!!!

I've been a nurse for almost 8 years. I have some limited OR experience when I worked L&D, but feel like it is so difficult to get into this speciality. Any suggestions from those of you who have transitioned into OR from another area?

Argo-I'm with Methodist. I'm so excited! I used to work in L&D and circulate the c/s--so I have a good feel of the environment. I'm a quick study--but have also heard it'll be a year before I feel confident. 😄
