I work in a Stepdown unit and we've had several nurses leave and work in the ED. Also one our charge nurse used to pick up shifts in the ED.

Kind of confuse can you just have those hours with in two years. Or is it a mandatory two year regardless even if you meet the minimum hours after 1 year. Sorry if dumb question

Well it worked for me. i got the good pop up and passed. I had doubts since I took my test on jan 20th and found out that I passed only feb 18. Good luck to all haven't found anyone the trick didn't work for.

im not super familiar with the responsibilities, but check out becoming a acnp acute care nurse practitioner. They are active in coordinating care in critical settings. there are a lot of posts in the advanced practice section on here
