Yes, I think it was the average salary for Pa. nurses.Which includes Philadelphia which has a higher rate.

I had a hard time finding a job also. It seemed a lot of places wanted experienced nurses. Finally I got acll back and interviewed. I did get the job and of course 2 other jobs called right after. It was about 7 weeks I was really spazing out!

Dont give up hope, Which kaplan book did you use, the one from the class offered or the one with the test taking strategies? I found the prentice hall disc very...very useful I found it to be helpful in preparing for the nclex as did many of my class...

Dont quit because someone told you no, keep pushing on, try another doctors office and then another until you are hired. Practice your interview skills with family and friends that will be honest with you. Never quit on yourself so easily!
