Hi, I dont think i know all the answers to your questions, but i might know a few. Yes, there are all age groups in nursing school.......sometimes majority are younger girls, but there are a few that are in their 30s as well, entering their 2nd care...

In California, most nurses in hospitals only have option to work 12 hour shifts....6a-6p, 12-12a, or 6p-6a.....There could be different alternatives.. What state are you in??

Poop bothers everyone, but one trick you could use is to put wicks rub under your nose, and poof the smell is gone or not as strong, lol. Good luck

My advise is the same as vlrsgrl. You might feel a little intimidated once you get there, but keep at it, and you might get the E.R. itch like most of us aqquired, lol.....YOU will learn so much there, even as a tech, you are much needed. Good luck
