JMO, if you get a Bs in bio or chem, I think there is very little you could do with it. You could teach at a junior college, but then you would have to get a masters before you could do that.

Thanks for the advice Anna. I really don't want to do night shift because of family obligations, but I will do what I have to do. I'm not really surprised that new people just starting out would get the undesirable shifts.

Here is my take on your situation, if you go for the surgical tech program, I am pretty sure that there is no advancement in that career choice. If you go the LPN to RN route there are many oppurtunites for advancement, so I guess it just depends on...
