They sent a round yesterday, have until Nov. 8th to accept or decline. It will probably be another week

Yes! If I don't get in for the Spring cohort, I will probably wait until Fall 2019. It's definitely my top school

I heard from admin that sometimes they don't count certain points if their documents aren't sufficient enough, or classes aren't equivalent, etc.. Did you apply to Palomar??

I didn't ask about alternates, she said they were waiting for transcript evaluations and course equivalency evaluations. She only mentioned the top 20 as of NOW. Notifications should be sent out at the end of the month! :)

They will most likely tell me "90-95" because they always do.... Our saving grace is if people don't take their seats & give them up for lower point students like us í ½í¸‚

Honestly, Miracosta ALWAYS SAYS "86-90 points won't get you in" and I think that may be exaggerating... Maybe to push applicants harder? Idk... I've made a full page of notes from the last 4 semesters on users on this site & their points/admittan...

I'm banking on Palomar too! I'd choose MCC over any other school, but because it's so competitive I'm keeping the expectation of a rejection letter lol Maybe we'll be in school together! We have very similar points :)
