Last year I got an application confirmation on August 25th. That time will vary depending on their internal processes, though.

Only people who would know the actual average would be the admissions staff. However, I do know that 85 and up is considered to be a competitive score. Volunteer work and a solid interview can help bolster your chances, though.

On the program's webpage it says the class size is roughly 70 per year. From what other people are saying on the forum, they may send out more than 70 acceptances to make up for those who inevitably decline or don't respond to the offer.
