Professors who don't make their own tests...

Hi all. I am quite frustrated. I had an A&P II exam yesterday, and it was awful. Long story short, I did a Google search after taking the test and found a very large set of flashcards on cram.com that were made in 2011. I read through them, and found about 20 questions that were exactly the same as the ones on my test. Word for word, 100% the same. I don't know what textbook they were created from, but I do know that my professor has not been teaching since 2011. Clearly, she does not make her own tests and I can't help but see this as borderline plagiarism...

Have any of you ever had this problem before? I've heard about similar things happening at other schools, but I don't know what to do about it or if there's anything wrong with it in their eyes. I just don't think it's fair.

When I teach clinicals for a well respected brick and mortar university and we administer quizzes the actual quiz is already made up and given to me to basically proctor. If I have them ahead of time I will provide a comprehensive review but I have no control over the quiz itself. I'm not lazy and would actually prefer to administer my own quiz but that isn't an option.

The other thing I would advise all nursing students to do is definitely purchase your textbooks accompanying study guides and also check out the publisher's websites for questions as very often you will see some of the same questions on exams. If not the same you will get a flavor for the questioning style and I found that to be invaluable.

See ya, if your feelings get hurt so easily . Way too many students come here and post on a PUBLIC FORUM, then when a difference in opinion arrives they play the victim card. I commend those with an active imagination who are able to find insults where there are none, because they are able to detect an offensive tone when ordinarily one would read it in a neutral tone.

Op, some people are blunt and some people just don't want to mince words. That doesn't make it belittling. There is no time for fragile egos here. And if you read the post, the poster was mocking the debate on brick and mortar programs always being better than online programs. I mean if you think that your school is good I don't see how you could've thought it was about your school.

And how are questions not wanted? People gave you their opinions and answers on your scenario. Clearly, you did not come here with an open mind. My suggestion, find a groupie that fawns over you and only tells you what you want to hear.
