Anyone a fulltime professor with a part time nursing job (staff RN or NP)? Just wondering if the workload is possible.
I have an interview for a fulltime ONLINE nursing professor job but am anticipating a 30K pay cut. With that, as well as my desire to maintain my bedside skills, I would like to work 2-12hr shifts a week. I feel like I can juggle that as the full time job is fully remote/flexible and I can work some weekends or nights.
My previous job as a professor, most other faculty worked weekends or picked up shifts for money. Any input is welcome. Thanks, dont want to set myself up for failure IF I am offered the position.
