President Biden thread

Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Statistically, more transgender people identify as female than male. I can totally understand why someone who has undergone feminization procedures would feel unsafe in a mens restroom and locker room. 

If you loved a sport as a child, it doesn't seem unusual to want to continue. 

The restroom issue is only a problem if one is a known trans.  If so, a penis owner should use the mens room.  Too bad for her/them if that's not the preferred choice.

It's understandable that women wouldn't want a trans woman with penis in a locker room situation.   Too bad for her/them.

And just because a male wants to be female doesn't give that person the right to compete with women in sports.  Took bad,  so sad for her/them.

"a penis owner" is a new one on me.  But kudos for being inclusive because "man" doesn't describe a trans woman.

But, it actually "man" describes an adult male.   At least according to Merriam-Webster, Oxford Languages, and others.

We've already discussed our difference in thought that I don't consider a trans woman an adult male and you do because of birth.  We can stop here.  😀

I can't say I'm fine with it.  You do the crime and you do the time.  It just shows that powerful connections put you above the law.  He lied about it all along.  At least Trump is more upfront about pardoning the criminals in prison stemming from January 6th.

Then again, I get it.  It's his son and he lost one son already, the Democrats tossed him aside and rejected him, then the country rejected him and elected Trump, his son throughout the campaign was used as a weapon against him, he's been called the head of crime organization that Trump is going after.  He's all out of f's to give what anyone thinks or says about it.  

It was a big story last night, they interrupted regular program to announce it.  By this morning NPR and BBC both lead with a story on Syria before talking about Biden.  Foxnews.com predictably has about 10 articles about it and it's their main headline.  Finding another story such as Syria is a challenge right now.  One opinion calling it the most disgraceful pardon in history.

I don't have a problem with the pardon.  It's a presidential power, and who wouldn't keep their son out of prison if they could?

I do have a problem with his lying about.  And while he was publicly telling us he wouldn't pardon Hunter, NBC is reporting he was discussing the matter with aides.

I have a bigger problem with the liberal propagandist press and Democrats telling us how Biden and the Dems were on higher moral ground, showing us a contrast between Biden and Trump in regards to their respect for the rule of law and order, etc.  This morning I listened to a 10 minutes of such sound bites.

And then, Biden's statement.  He's complaining about (with lies to try snd back ip his argument) of the Justice Dept and courts being weaponized and Hunter being singled out and prosecuted unfairly.  Things he, Democrats,  liberal media,  and some members here criticized Trump for.

Evidence of one, that Biden pardoned Hunter.  You're going to have a hard time convincing me of the other one that Trump was a reasonable option.  I know he won but that doesn't say "reasonable option" to me personally.  LOL

It's fair to bring TMB's posts back up but he's never been one to not admit when he was wrong about something either.

I do wonder that the people say that Trumps charges were because he was Trump, if they feel the same about Hunter Biden's charges being because he was Biden's son.  Particularly the gun charge which is something someone really had to dig deep to find and apparently is an usual charge and rare.  
But as I said about Trump, a charge is a charge and guilty is guilty.
