Pre-School Studying?

Published

Hi there everyone! I just registered here today, but have been reading posts for awhile! Everything is just so helpful! Anyways, I am about to start school in about a month and have a crazy schedule for the first semester! I have been reviewing A&P to get myself a bit more comfortable with it before school starts. Anyone else doing this too? Did it help make your first semester a little bit more bearable?

Anyone else getting nervous? Less than a month left to go and I'm starting to doubt myself! What if I'm not smart enough? Not good enough? EEK!

i just went through the a&p sticky note and copied all the websites that still worked. i am also getting the anthony goodman dvd set from the teaching company. although it doesn't cover the beginning of my book i have time between semesters to watch it.

so here are all the sites . i also copied someones lecture notes. for ap1. i think i found them on page 3 of the a&p sticky.

i definitely think we should start studying. joyce :typing

here are some different kreb cycle sites. my advice would be to look at all of them and see what you can learn from each one. somewhere along the way, it is likely to all "come together" for you. :)

http://www.science.smith.edu/departm...231/krebs.html (very nice animation, big overview, not very detailed)

http://incolor.inebraska.com/mcanaday/main.htm (also includes helpful information on the processes that must occur prior to the krebs cycle)

http://www.wiley.com/legacy/college/...ns/tca/tca.htm (very nice animation and explanations, more detailed)

http://www.sparknotes.com/biology/ce...e/summary.html (maybe more detail than you need; read this one last)

Fabulous complilation. I'm forwarding on to the incoming anesthesia students...'cause they're gonna need that stuff too.

Specializes in N/A.

I became absorbed in my Sociology book a week ago and have read 3 chapters so far... so wrong course. :p I do have a book called Anatomy & Physiology an Incredibly Visual Pocket guide. 367 pages, 17 chapters of text on one side and visuals on the opposite. Was NOT a cheap book at $34 but I am a visual learner and I liked the way this book is laid out.

The minute my summer term was over, I dashed to the library to pick up some books on stats and A&PI :) Thanks for the list!
