Hello!
Here's my take on class loads...I have always loaded up on classes with the thought in the back of my head that if I find out within the first month that it's too much, I can drop one or two classes. With how our tuition works and such, that is what works for me. Personally I'd rather enroll in more classes and find out I need to drop one or two rather than get halfway through the semester and wish I had taken more classes. I would be mindful of when your drop dates are and what impact it would have financially (loans, grants, scholarships) if you would happen to drop a class or two. This may not work in every situation, but this is just my opinion from my experience. You also need to know your abilities...are you organized and able to devote the time necessary to a bigger class load? I guess it comes down to weighing the pros and cons for your own situation.
Good luck to you!!
