posting nclex on holidays

daughter took it 2/13/09.today is a holiday in va.i took it written many years ago

should we panic or wait til tuesday to be sure ?

I took my boards in California in 2005 and found out a week later, others were not so lucky, took months for their results.

Never assume or panic until you know for definite. More than likely if a holiday then the office will be closed. If the state participates in quick results with pearsonvue she can get her results there before the BON releases them otherwise the only thing she can do is wait

Check your state board of nursing website and search her name to see if a license has been issued in her name. I found out that I passed this way a day before Pearson let me know. Be sure to see if a license number is assigned to her. Good luck!

I took my boards in California on 2/13/09 and I still can't find my name on the BRN website. I took the exam on the same day as one of my friends, we found her name yesterday morning. I heard that they update around 3am on certain days, so I'll be up again looking, looking, looking...I feel like I'm wasting away :crying2: . I even called them to make sure that my file was complete, and it is. I need lots of prayers. I'll keep you guys posted. Good luck to everyone that is planning to take the exam or are waiting for their results.
