Funny, after reading a few posts about people seeing drugs on the nclex exam that they never heard of, and gave the advice to watch commercials for newer drugs... I decided to turn on the tube and let my mind relax, low and behold the first thing I saw was a commercial for Crestor which is to help lower cholesterol. Feel free to share the medication advertisments that you happened to see.:jester:

There was a med that I was tested on the nclex that I always see commercials for, esp during baseball games. I don't know if I'm allowed to say what med it was since it was a specific test question. But it's a med used by older men :blushkiss if you know what I mean!

Reclast to treat osteoporosis...... side effects include flu-like symptoms headache and muslce/joint pain

I took the NCLEX yesterday and 2 of these drugs that you have mentioned were on my test. One is for men and the other for women. This thread is a great idea and keep up the good work.
