Post-masters psychiatric NP program at Stonybrook, Summer 2016

Hi all. I am interviewing for the post masters certificate to psych NP at Stonybrook on Jan 27th. Trying to find others in the same track as mine. Any info on the program, interview, acceptance, difficulty of the courses for a full time working nurse, fees etc will be much appreciated!

I have not been to the conference! Is the next one in Hartford Ct?

I am thinking we won't be hearing anything today....hopeful, but doubtful!

The national conference was in Orlando this year and will be in Hartford next year. The NYS educational conference is held every year in Saratoga Springs /Malta at the end of May. It is a one day event and includes some great speakers.

I did see the flyer for that. I may try and get there in May...I feel like I am in limbo right now waiting to hear from Stony Brook...I have several things that need to be scheduled around the end of April!

Nothing yet for me either! My son's first birthday is on April 22nd and they said the orientation is on 21st. I want to be able to plan something. This has just paused everything for me!

So I just sent another email, asking if we will get an email if we are not accepted into the program and to also verify that orientation is April 21st...beginning to feel like I wasn't accepted (or on the wait list). Will see what they say....

I got into the MS Program. Got the email today! I'm so excited. I didn't expect to get in because everyone at my interview was so qualified
