I'm at a community college, so a 90-100 is an A, there are no + or -. The joy of finishing all pre-reqs is waning as the anxiety of submitting ABSN applications and hopefully getting accepted somewhere is setting in.

A&P II LECTURE - AA&P LAB - AENGLISH 1101 - AI'm stoked. I have maintained my 4.0 GPA going into applying for the nursing program. I worked my butt off this semester in particular bc I found 2 way way harder than 1. I was borderline high B low A going into final so it could've gone either way. I'm really proud of myself :) congrats to everyone getting awesome grades!!!!

Good job! Where are you applying? I am going for Gwinnett Tech 2014
The reason I do this is because this forum was made for us to have a way to express our lives in healthcare, our journey to becoming nurses and to plain vent to others who can relate. Nothing wrong with that either. Many of us sacrifice for our success and the only others out there giving congrats may only be in this blog. I love the idea of sharing how well I did to people I dont know personally. The few times I did, my friends asked me, and so I tell them. Than they come back with snarky judgements about how I dont work like they do if their grades arent as good. Here I can be proud with others and we all earned it. I wont dilute my success because it didnt happen that way for everyone. Thats like saying there should never be an award or a prize because others werent as successful. Sometimes, you just want that pat on the back that isnt always given. Most of the people I have encountered who dont make the cut, drop the class. Reaching a 1.5 is pretty low. I dont know how a person would reach that without dropping to salvage their gpa in the first place. I wish anyone the best and to be successful but there are people out there that unfortunately will not make the cut.

I wound up with a 3.67 for the semester.
A&P 2: B+
Microeconomics: B+
Medical Terminology: A
Women's Health (elective): A
Ugh meant to say would've lol. Yea it's hard to apply to many different schools. It's time consuming and can get costly. I totally understand. I'm putting all my eggs in the GPC basket. Not sure if that's the smartest thing BUT if I do well on the Teas V I'll be in good shape as I have a 4.0 GPA. So please pray for me!!! I take it this Saturday. Been studying for 3 weeks. Keep in touch! This journey is crazy and exciting :)
And yes, two sons over here! 5 and 2. It's so hard but they are my main motivation and belief in myself that I CAN do this!!!
