Polk State College Fall 2020 Hopefuls

Hello ? I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ADN nursing program at Polk State College. I know the application period isnt open until May, but I was wondering if anyone on here was planning to apply and what your points are? Best of luck to everyone!

It's possible. In previous years' threads, applicants said they notified via their PSC email.?

Where on the degree audit did you see this change?

Toward the end of the page. The section is entitled:

*** Enrolled/Graduation Summary *** Current Enrollment

Hey everyone! I’ve been taking a look at this thread for a while and finally decided to comment. I too applied for fall (fingers crossed) and am sitting at 118 pts. I was taking a look at degree audit to see the change that was mentioned earlier and I noticed that it’s stating my comp classes haven’t been satisfied. I have a previous bachelors degree so I’m not really sure why. Is anyone else having this issue or even something similar?

Did anyone submit an attachment when filling out the application for the generic program?

Hi Sabrina,

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I emailed Richard Benson and he was able to take care of it for me. Hope this gets fixed soon and good luck!

I sent Denise an email to ask when we could expect a response given the scheduled orientation on next Friday. She said "hopefully by Monday." Has anyone else had a nagging feeling the program might get shelved for the Fall? I applied with PHSC to counteract a delay at either program. PHSC canceled the generic RN program and reduced (36 to 20) the number of admits for the LPN Bridge. I'm praying to start in FALL...somewhere. But nothing would surprise me right now. Trying to remain positive
