Yes, wanting to retake my TEAS for a higher score ( I have a 78) but I've heard for transition as long as you have the minimum of 70 thats fine. Also, cant schedule due to Covid

What have you heard is the minimum points for transition?

Well back in December, professor Gaddy (head of the transition program) and a few students in the program came and spoke to my class about the program and they basically said that the point system is more so used for the generic program and that in transition as long as you meet the basic requirements (previous health care, 70 on TEAS, required pre req's) it's pretty set in stone. I know that the class before last only had 30 people apply so everyone got in, but I'm still gonna try to be on the higher end since more people might apply this time.

Okay that makes me feel a little better, yeah I wanted to retake it as well for a higher score. I have a 76 :/

I haven't been able to retake the TEAS due to the virus and got a 72 the first time. My total points would be 104.5...

Edit: Has anyone ever tried to write a statement explaining lower grades early on in undergrad? My performance during the last couple of semesters as I prepared for nursing school are a drastic improvement from when I first started out. I even made Dean's list twice. Do you think I should bother writing one or should I leave them to see the improvements made? I'd write one right now but I'm not sure if my effort would be offensive in a way and have my application thrown out :/.

I’m only at 105 at this point. Nervous I won’t be able to get my points higher. Or if that will be enough.

I’m at 108 not being able to retake the TEAS sucks but I’m gonna cross my fingers. I think transition is a lot easier to get into than the generic.
