Maryanne,6 years old. She's been sick for 3 weeks. They can't find anything wrong with her and they are now testing her for leukemia :o
She has trouble urinating, but doesn't have a UTI.She has been vomiting.
They did a chest x-ray, a throat culture and her ears are fine, but she's had a fever for 3 weeks. This is the second trip to the Dr. It seems a little long for a virus. I won't know anything till tomorrow night after 5:00PM
They are also testing for mono, ordered a CBC with diff.
My husband was diagnosed with ALL at the age of 8. He went through 4 years of chemo and radiation and went into remission at age 12. He is now 28, 6'4" and about 250lbs. 2 years ago, we were blessed with the birth of a beautiful son, even after all of the doctors told us that my husband would never have children. Both my husband and my son are in excellent health. The doctors today are telling us that there is virtually no chance of the cancer returning. This is the season in which many miracles happen and my family and I are praying that your daughter will receive a clean bill of health. God bless!
My family will be remembering you in our prayers today. We will pray for strength for you to handle what comes along and healing for your daughter. My sixteen year old is getting over pneumonia, so I can understand the days (and days) of fever and feeling lethargic. Praying for your little one.
My best to you,
Jane

you both find peace and strength in him.
