Members are discussing issues with their NCLEX exam results being placed on hold, potentially due to finishing the exam too quickly or technical errors. Some members have experienced delays in receiving their results due to palm vein biometric scans not being captured properly. There is confusion and anxiety among members about what a result hold means and whether it indicates a failure.
Thanks for the response, I am upset with this whole process. I feel like I’m being penalized for things not in my control. Also, there’s no way to verify anyone is actually working on my hold. So it makes me feel insecure, what if I fell through the cracks some how? Am I supposed to wait an indefinite length of time for them to release my results.
Thank you for any of the HELPFUL responses. I just want to share my experience for anyone that may be in this situation in the future. On Friday I received an email stating:
" On June 22nd, 2019 at the Pearson Professional Center in Sacramento (North) CA your Palm Vein Biometric was not captured. NCSBN will not allow your results to be released until we have your Palm Vein Biometric on file. Please return to a Pearson Professional Center with your primary identification to get a Palm Vein Biometric taken."
Therefore, my scan was not done properly and my results were placed on hold. I have submitted my scan and since then I am getting the good popup!!
@Kdevinva26 How long did it take after you did the palm reader for them to take your test results off hold? I had the same thing happen to me, except the pearson facility i was at told me I didn't need it (theirs wasn't working). I took the exam july 10th, got the email about going back to get the palm scan done today July 12th and did it instantly that morning (around 0800). It's 9pm now and mine still says it is on hold.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has RECENTLY had any issues with their NCLEX results being on hold? I took my NCLEX-RN on 6/22 at 8am, finished in about 40 minutes and the test shut off at 75. I have called Pearson vue to inquire the specifics of my hold, but I was given a scripted response I am sure they say to everyone. Any information would greatly be appreciated!
