Members are discussing issues with their NCLEX exam results being placed on hold, potentially due to finishing the exam too quickly or technical errors. Some members have experienced delays in receiving their results due to palm vein biometric scans not being captured properly. There is confusion and anxiety among members about what a result hold means and whether it indicates a failure.
Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has RECENTLY had any issues with their NCLEX results being on hold? I took my NCLEX-RN on 6/22 at 8am, finished in about 40 minutes and the test shut off at 75. I have called Pearson vue to inquire the specifics of my hold, but I was given a scripted response I am sure they say to everyone. Any information would greatly be appreciated!
Hey guys I have the same question my results are on hold. I live in abc , I didn’t have to do a scan of my hand. My results are on hold.
My DON says that means I failed because my results are on hold. I don’t know what to do.
As anyone recently taken the test and results where placed on hold?
does a hold really mean you failed!

Also, there’s no way to verify anyone is actually working on my hold. So it makes me feel insecure, what if I fell through the cracks some how? Am I supposed to wait an indefinite length of time for them to release my results.
The same happened to me. So did you get your results? How was?
So I was informed by Pearson that a rare "technical error" occurred with my exam (NCLEX-RN) so that's why my results are not available (I tested Friday and it is now Monday afternoon). Has this ever occurred to anyone else before? If so, how long did it take for you to get results or did you have to just take the test again? I'm stressing so bad over here ?

Hi! I went back to have my palm scanned on a Friday and my license was up on breeze/brn by monday! Pretty fast, although the wait is enough to drive someone crazy. Good luck
