PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Published

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Thanks!

I agree! Haha. I hope they will be out by then.

Haha OMG what a horrible time to go on vacation! Jk jk

but really I'm hoping we have them by the 15th b/c after that I might start sprouting gray hair lol

What is usually the cut off score for the composite score

I know! We are going to be gone until the 20th! Aggghhh.

How is everyone holding up? I'm starting to get a little more antsy now, and excited for all of us to get our letters! Hoping we can all post good news! Anyone heard any rumors about the number of applicants or anything? I just keep telling myself 3-ish weeks, 3-ish weeks! :)

The closer it gets the more antsy I get

Stressing, I booked a two week surf trip to Costa Rica, the plan is to forget until I come back, how's that for failure to cope? Lol

Super anxious! I'm glad I'm going on vacation during this process. It will keep me from sitting around getting antsy. Haha. Until I check in on this board and see people saying they are in. Then I'll be ready to rush home!

I called West campus admissions again asking about my application confirmation letter. The lady who answered must have been having a horrible day bc she was sooo rude on the phone. I even told her "you must have been receiving a lot of phone calls about the RN apps" and she snapped back so i told her don't take it out on me. Geez. Anyways she said "Nothing has been done with the nursing apps at all, not even confirmation letters"... ok first time I called they said it should have been mailed out, and some of you already received them. Now she tells me this? Anyone else not receive their letter?

I would call again and ask for Reesie. She is very nice. You should have received your confirmation letter within a week after submitting application.

I haven't received a letter yet and I turned my app in to the Porter campus on the 11th!

I turned my into porter on the 11th and I received my confirmation.
