I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Does anyone know how the clinicals work?? I know you have lab for those two days a week for about a month until you master your skills so, once that happens does your whole class go to clinicals those same two days or do you then get a separate clinical time and day??
You will still have the same clinical days (thurs&fri), but the time will change. Clinical groups are split into groups of 12 at different locations and is from 7am - 3pm.
I just called West campus admissions bc it's been 13 days and I haven't received the letter that they received my app. I asked how many applicants and she said she can't release that info but maybe someone else can try bc every semester they usually do
Sweet101... Which applications did you call for ? Transition or Generic ?
I called for generic but they didn't ask me which one. Just said they couldn't say. I do however think that they are allowed to say. Shouldn't be a secret! :/
I don't even want to share this here, but I know I'd want it shared with me.
I just called West campus and talked to Reecey. I wanted to see if they had a date for the deadline to accept your seat since I will be out of town for much of July. Anyway, first she asked me if I'd received my letter of acceptance. Um... no. I just want the date that we need to accept our seats because I'll be out of town.
Reecey informed me that the board doesn't even have a date that they will be meeting yet, and likely won't meet until after July 15th because one of the board members is on vacation.
That's funny. I called and they said the letters should be out by the 15th. I feel like they get these calls every semester and just see how much worse they can male the wait lol
