Hey everyone!
I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Thanks!
I just graduated from the RN transition program and I have just about everything you would need for it (lab coat, PHSC shirt for special events that I only wore once, brand new blood pressure cuff, uniforms that have ink pen stain on the pocket because I bent over with the pen in my pocket lol, and every book etc.) Size small. If anybody is interested in a bundle of stuff for a much cheaper price than retail then let me know! :) I was going to resell everything back to the school but I figured that the school would only try to make a profit out of it so I'd rather sell myself.
ChillyB, what documents did you include in your apps? I'm dropping mine off tomorrow so I looked over the checklist (again), and started wondering if they wanted hard copies of transcripts, etc. I've only got the generic nursing app, checklist, DL copy, Teas score copy, and I'll have the payment receipt tomorrow of course. Sound about right? I just assumed everything else like transcript should have been previously submitted..
Mrcookiemonster & Britt_nicole7, as long as you have previously submitted your college and/or high school transcripts to the college...there is no need to submit them with the rest of the paperwork. All you need is the application checklist, copy of your drivers license, generic nursing app, and a copy of your TEAS score.
:]
Hope that helps!

I will be applying this week for the RN program with a 3.6 GPA and 80 on the TEAS!! How do you think my chances are? I am also a Pasco resident.
