Hey everyone!
I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Thanks!
According from what I was told the classes had to be paid 1 week before the classes start. Not sure how loans would play into it though.
I stopped into financial aid yesterday and asked about applying for a student loan and she said as long as your have your paperwork going and the class is paid before we start we should be fine.
Im not sure how Pell grants work as I do not qualify.
I'm thinking this first semester is going to be a big chunk because we have to get our uniforms and books and tuition.
You know...registration begins next week, but how do we know where to register at if we don't know which campus we were selected for? I called Ms. Kersey this morning, but was unable to reach her. So, I left her a voice mail and have also emailed her with this question. I'll update you guys once I get a response!
Got my RN scrub tops today from the college book store! And the RN patches as well Also, has anyone seen their WISE account? I don't know about you, but when I saw that my major had changed from 'Associates in Arts' to 'NURSING (GENERIC TRACK)' my heart felt super happy. Cannot wait for this journey to begin!
I love tht too! I got so excited lol How many tops did you get? Can you give me your total price? Thanks:) Also did you find any shoes you like?
I got two since we will be having clinicals back to back (Thursday, Friday). Sure thing! It was a total of $60.03 for two RN tops and 2 RN patches. The scrub bottoms I chose were a separate total (not included in that $60.03).
I have not found any shoes I like yet. Although, I did meet a RN student today on campus and she had on some white tennis shoes that looked very comfy. If I find some I will let you know!
