Hey everyone!
I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?
Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!
Thanks!
Hahaha! I wouldn't say you are crazy....just busy! lol! My youngest two are 13 months apart and I'm so glad it happened that way. They are best friend sisters :) They grow up so fast. I have applied 2x for HCC's Rn program and was denied once and an alternate once. I was accepted into HCC's radiation therapy program for the fall of 2014, but declined the spot. After much research, I came to the realization that there were no jobs and that it wasn't for me. Which campus are you hoping for? I'm so excited, but sooo nervous!
TpaMom.... I'm a mom of 3 under 5 but I'm 26;) Am I crazy!???? Maybe lol but I have had the best time staying home with my babies. However, after 3 long years applying at many schools I have finally gotten in so I'm taking it!
Thts awesome!:) I would have loved to continue to stay home but we just can't afford it anymore. Hubby said this was the last chance for nursing school. I would have had to get a full time job if this feel through. We were just stuck in limbo w which path I was going to go down for so long. Lucky Hes a paramedic and although he doesn't make much money he can work his schedule around mine. I also have an amazing mother who is going to help with my youngest. I'm a little torn leaving her (14 months) but I know it's the best for the future of our family. I don't care which campus for me so Dai is u get porter and want to trade I don't mind!

Live by Land O' Lakes High School. I've been going to WC for the past two years, but I'd be good with Porter since it's closer. That's probably where they will put my anyway.
