PHSC 2015 Nursing Hopefuls

Hey everyone!

I found one topic on this, but it wasn't very active, so I hope this one becomes a little more successful. My name is Jennifer, and I am applying for the January 2015 Nursing Program at PHSC. My home campus is Porter at Wiregrass Ranch. Are there any other 2015 hopefuls? I'd like to get to know you all! I am taking my TEAS next Tuesday and am so nervous. This will be my first time taking the TEAS. Have any of you taken it? How was it?

Any tips? I have finished all me pre-reqs and finished with a 3.6. Not too bad, wish I would have got higher! Hope I get in! Good luck to all you ladies!

Getting closer! Anyone know if start and end times for clinicals can vary a bit?

I heard the meeting should be happening Friday, so hopefully we will get letters this time next week.

Hello everyone! My name is Sara and I am also a PHSC Spring 2015 hopeful. My home campus is Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch. I have a 71 TEAS score, 4.0 pre-req GPA, and am a Pasco County resident. Could someone calculate my total score? I tried calculating the score myself, but I just want to be sure. Getting into the program would mean everything to me as my 18th birthday is three days before the Spring 2015 program starts! All the best to everyone!

man im so nervous to get the letter! i wont handle the rejection very well and the closer it gets the more my tummy turns! UGH

Hi Sara, it looks like you will be taking over the fourth slot in our group with a score of 85.5.

I hear ya and my mail hasn't been coming until almost 4:30-5 pm.....

LOL My mail arrives at 1:30 on Mondays and 11:45 on all the other days... not that I'm keeping track or anything lol :)

Lab is 8:00 - 3:00 on campus. Clinicals start 4 weeks later and are 7:30-2:30 at hospital
