Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing??

dear all, is it hard to get into Phillips Beth Israel School of nursing?? i heard they require to take the pre-nursing exam and do you guys know what subject of matter test on the exam?? is it hard?? since i never take any biology before!!

I just want to through this out there. MY nln is 114/72,english& science good, math score was very low,gpa_2.69, lowest grade_c, got 2 good references from professors, essay is very good,did all science subj. except nut.& diet, currently doing micro which i know i will pass,ged_very good grades, in the health field,do volunteer work.Do you think i have a shot at an interview

I was looking at your post and thought that I should reply. I attended an open house at PBISN in Oct of 2007 and remember them saying that they GPA needed was at least a 2.75. They also look at NLN scores, GPA, references and your essay.

I never got in for PBSIN:crying2:, but I did get in at my current college-MEC(CUNY).All my subjects were done at the college not online.

Hi there! Are you in their program now? I have applied and all of my paperwork was submitted awhile ago and they just received my pre-NL test scores today. Do you know how long after you had everything in, how long did it take for them to call you for an interview? Can you comment on the interview itself and how you like the school?

I applied for 2009, did you get into the program? And once the college received all of the paperwork needed such as nln scores, essay,etc..how long was it until they called you for an interview? Thanks

I heard back after about a week-after all my stuff was sent it. They called and set up an interview and I heard the decision about 3 weeks after the interview.

yes, i just applied, i got in and will be starting in the fall. I am really looking forward to it. So sorry I cant answer more questions about the school- I have been in touch with the people in the admissions office whenever I had questions and I found them to be very helpful!
