Phillips Beth Israel Applicants

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....

the extended deadline is actually July 15th (for scholarships)

Arh -- so much paperwork! I'm terrible with paperwork. Did you all get that Health Assessment email? So much to do.

Is there anyone here doing the Karpas Summer Institute? Is it worth the time and energy?

I signed up for the Chemistry review. The math one seemed fairly basic. (lets hope I don't end up regretting that statement! :)) If there's one area I could always use a refresher in - it's chem. I mean did really well in Science on the NLN but I figured either it helps and I'm extra prepared ... or it's a repeat of things I know. Maybe this will get me back into that school frame of mind. :D

I don't think it will hurt. I would like to do it but can't because I'm still in class.

I called this morning and they said the scholarship deadlines been extended till August. Don't really know how that will affect our eligibility, since i'd like to know where i stand with loans.

As for the health assessment, have you guys signed up already? I just scheduled mine today.

Does anyone know when we'll be able to sign up for fall classes? I know the schedule's already posted online, but it doesn't seem like it's possible to log in yet.
