Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has applied to the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in NYC for the coming year? I am looking to get into their part-time evening program that would begin in Spring 2011. I'm taking the NLN this Wed and really nervous about it, really just the verbal part....
I did apply to Queensborough but I'm really not holding my breath for that program. They gave me hell about repeating courses I took 13 years ago, if you would believe that meanwhile I found out that you're supposed to repeat them if they're that old. Whatever. They said I should hear something by May/June so I have to wait for either one.
Starlette, when are you going for your other interview?
Hi everyone,
I spoke to MG today and I was so excited because she said that my folder was being reviewed and that they received my NLN results. Only thing is that I didn't get a copy of my NLN results ???? the way I figure it is whether I know or not there is nothing I can do but stay positive. Im just happy they got to my Application. the waiting game continues...............
hey all,
Congrats althea! =) everyone should just keep positive. the deadline is may 1st so there is plenty of time.
so my interview is next wed with the dean. and then the 1st woman interviewed with said that the admissions committe was meeting may 10th!!! what anxiety...
is everyone going for the full-time fall program?
kuklara is right - brush up on physics. you dont get formulas or anything but it is multiple choice...if you look over physics section in the review - that is good. just be sure to review physics lol. i would have to say the review book the NLN recommends with the red cover is definitely a good review of everything. be sure you go over all those topics. =)
when is your test?
Thanks girls. Have you seen an exact question on the test that you have seen in the review book? Also is it a computerized or pen/paper test? I'm scheduled next Monday, April 12.
I have two review books, the red one and the Kaplan one is a lot more complicated. I have been studying more with the red book.
