Any Pasco/Hernando- PHCC hopefuls? I just applied to the Lpn program last week, waiting is the worst. Anybody else out there in the same boat?
The more General classes you have completed the eaiser it will be. Many of the students I know who have applied, have all the classes except the nursing courses completed. However, that doesn't seem to make a difference to the PHCC nursing board. They pick who they want in the program and some get admitted because of where they work rather than based on their qualifications.
Kay- Could you elaborate on that? PHCC tells us that acceptance is based on GPA and scores on the NET exam- have you heard/seen otherwise? I, like many others, have completed all the GE classes. I don't recall having to fill out any info on where I work- just previous education. Did anyone else here have to fill out work info?
I just got my acceptance letter for the PHCC RN program today!!! I am so happy !!! This was my third time applying. WOOHOO!!
If there is anyone else who received their letter and will be starting in the spring of 09, drop me a line. I would like to get to know a few people before classes start.
