PHCC Fall 2014 hopefuls!

I want to meet some of you! I'm just getting ready to take my last 3 finals, have been studying for the TEAS for months now, and will be able to apply for next fall's nursing program (YAYAY!) I'd love to hear from some potential future classmates, how you are doing/ did with pre-reqs/ TEAS, and share the excitement upon acceptances!

I have been following these post to see what others status is with school as well. I applied to the fall 2014 RN program and received my letter on friday that I was chosen as an alternate! It's very upsetting as I still do not know what my fate is but all I can do is hope that someone decides to decline their seat. I am married and have a 16 month old son so this means the world to me and my future to get in. I try my best but it is very hard to get through college with a baby boy. Has anyone heard of people getting in as alternates and if anyone got accepted to RN but is not taking the seat please let me know!

Yes be prepared to accept the seat closer to the semester starting. Alternatives always have that chance. Not sure if they have their own wait list of people in line as alternatives though.

Thanks for all the positive post. I live in wesley chapel so if I get in I am hoping it will be to porter campus as that is where I currently go. I am not sure how to use this website all the way… pretty sad for a 22 year old! ha!

Hi, I got in to generic RN!!!!YAY!!!! The application I filled out was for NPR or Brooksville campus. Do you know how you find out which campus you got into?

Congratulations :) There seems to be some miscommunication on campus selection. Some have been told that you will go where you submitted applications. Others within the nursing program have chimed in on this thread that we will be assigned at orientation to the campus closest to our homes. Wish I had more information to offer! Sorry

Thanks MamaBerry. Guess we will know for sure at orientation. Doesn't really matter, I would drive to Miami to get into RN school!

Thank you, and yes generic RN. That's great to know! I'm praying for porter it's soooo nice :cat: I live about the same distance for both of them so it's pretty hard to guess which one they'll choose for me.
