PHCC Fall 2013 hopefuls

Just wanted to see who all is applying for any program in the fall.

I'm going to be applying for the generic RN and LPN program for backup.

Yes I went to the Rasmussen info season and hoping to start in October!!!

My friend who didn't get into the RN program at PHCC is applying at Rasmussen. She already had a meeting there and is taking the "placement test" and sending in her teas score. Because she has already taking several of the classes that are included in their program, she will be discounted on her tuition and she receives a discount because her brother is Active Duty military and her husband works at Sams (Walmart). She's really excited and the people there sound really nice and motivating. Wishing you all all the best!!!

I went to Rasmussen for LPN program (15 months long ughhh). All I can say is be prepared for a BUNCH of unnecessary homework. I called it busy work!!! I literally had NO TIME for a life. I'm not sure what other nursing programs are like but there is no way that other schools have that much homework (as private schools). If I do not get into PHCC next year then I will go back to Rasmussen but praying I don't have too! On a positive note, If you really want to do private school and just can't wait any longer than I'd definitely would go with Rasmussen.

Glad I came on here and read you guys comments about Rasmussen. I'm more interested now to look into them knowing I am not the only one. Im going to see when their next orientation is.
