Petitioning for DCCC 2014 Nursing Program

Peace Everyone! I am currently a Pre-Nursing student at Delaware County Community College. I take my TEAS test July 30. I've been studying on and off since last month. I am trying not to be nervous about it. I'm beyond determined to get in! Is there anyone else who has taken the TEAS yet? what scores are considered good enough to get in?? My GPA is fine, and I will be complete all my pre reqs by next Spring. What scores would be considered TEAS test "Waiting List" scores?

Extreme! To the 100th power. Everyday from the time the material is learned until the morning of the test. I'm in 210 now and it's not easy! Good luck!

in 110 it wasn't really intense, but 111 was, and 210 has taken that up a few notches further! You definitely need to plan for at least a few hours a day on studies; in the week before an exam you'll pretty much spend every waking moment studying.

This wait is starting to make me anxious!! Anyone know what the average amount of applicants they get each year?

I hear there were about 200 waitlisted last year, but this year will probably be fewer since they raised the requirements.....

I'm getting anxious too! Dying to know. When I called to inquire about the program I was told that about 200 people applied last year. What I'm not sure about is if that is total or to a specific program. I can't remember if I even told her which program I was going for (Chester County Night/Weekend). Sounds like a lot for one program - but not enough for all of the programs. Maybe it was just Chester County??

I think I read that the letters were received around the 15th/16th of Dec last year.

Hey guys just got my letter today! I'm wait listed number 8 for CCH day program. I'm very hopeful I'll get in. Being in the top 10 is a pretty good position to be in.
