Found this interesting test where it lays it out nicely. How high of a risk (low, moderate, high) are you in matching with current personality disorders? Gives a break down for you after you take the test, as well as providing a description of each disorder if you need to read more.

1. If you are a nurse, how has this impacted your career and relationships?

2. As a nurse/student nurse interested in going into psychiatric nursing, can you perceive some difficulties for yourself depending on your profile risk? Is psychiatric nursing STILL a good option for you? Would you cause more harm than good?

3. After reading your profile, do your career and relationship difficulties seem to make a little more sense now?

I took this test, and apparently I have a high tendency toward "paranoia," how do you think a paranoid nurse would fare in the hospital?

It makes me wonder if I got the questions out of order or something, because when I read the things I was "high" on, they are opposite of how I answered the questions, or thought I did. Or.... there's some mumbo-jumbo psychobabble reason why they think that if you say "no" you really mean "yes"... yeah, that's it! And believe it or not I scored Low on Paranoia!!

I mean.... Avoidant I could maybe buy... and OCD, well, OK (OK, OK, OK, OK)... but histrionic, me???

Interesting test. I'm a new grad and do currentlly work in psych. I scored moderate in one and low on the rest, good thing...

This test told me nothing I didn't already know. Is it so bad that I'm a criminal who likes make a big deal out of commiting the perfect crime?

Thanks for the personality test. I scored modreate in one area and knew before I took the test that would be the one area I would be questionable in. That was a good test for anyone working with Mental pts to take in my opinion.:icon_rolleyes:

Heh. High on histrionic, which fits in. I've been accused of being dramatic more than once. And moderate on OCD, which I knew. I'd have been high but I'm on an SSRI.
