Penn State Residency: Hershey Medical Center 2015

Published

Hey Everyone,

I don't see a thread for 2015 yet, so I thought I'd start one. I'm just beginning the application process, and the clinical narrative is killing me. I precepted in trauma at a trauma center, so it was get them in, get them out: usually to a rehab. I can't think of how I might have changed their lives or had a big impact. I was able to attain great skills and do frequent assessments: neuro, neurovascular, cardio, telemetry strips, etc. and do and see some great stuff, I wish I could write about that!

I'd like to hear from anyone applying now or who applied in the past. Any pointers?

I'm from NY, graduated in May with BSN.

So if we don't hear them by today, that's mean we don't get in?

They said we're suppose to hear something either way...

Oh ok.. Thanks. I think you called them?

I'm in the same boat. Here's hoping no news is good news. Good luck to everyone that has an interview already!

Agreed, I just want to know already either good or bad! Has anyone received bad news?

I checked on the system but it says -0- changes on status.

I talked to Lynn today and she said that they were working on sending out the invites for interviews and we should know in the next few days. The girl sending the invites was off today.
