I don't see a thread for 2015 yet, so I thought I'd start one. I'm just beginning the application process, and the clinical narrative is killing me. I precepted in trauma at a trauma center, so it was get them in, get them out: usually to a rehab. I can't think of how I might have changed their lives or had a big impact. I was able to attain great skills and do frequent assessments: neuro, neurovascular, cardio, telemetry strips, etc. and do and see some great stuff, I wish I could write about that!
I'd like to hear from anyone applying now or who applied in the past. Any pointers?
Also, I have worked in the OR as a surgical tech for 5 years so I am hoping to transition to nurse in the OR. How do you like the OR at Hershey? Is it a trauma center? How is the call schedule? Thank you in advance and congratulations!
