I don't see a thread for 2015 yet, so I thought I'd start one. I'm just beginning the application process, and the clinical narrative is killing me. I precepted in trauma at a trauma center, so it was get them in, get them out: usually to a rehab. I can't think of how I might have changed their lives or had a big impact. I was able to attain great skills and do frequent assessments: neuro, neurovascular, cardio, telemetry strips, etc. and do and see some great stuff, I wish I could write about that!
I'd like to hear from anyone applying now or who applied in the past. Any pointers?

I received an email from the person in charge- not the specific unit- although I was notified in the email which unit I would be interviewing for. Hope that helps!
Well we both wanted peds, right? So maybe they haven't contacted any peds applicants at all yet? Probably wishful thinking haha. Anyway she did say we would hear either way, even if we were not chosen for an interview. Have you applied elsewhere? I haven't because everywhere else around here wants us to apply in April. I have a handful of contacts in the various NICUs in the area so I can probably get a job in one of those if this doesn't work out.
I was MICU/SICU/womens health....i actually want to do ER but that wasn't an option....I also applied at Duke and if all else fails i've worked for MedExpress as an X-ray tech for 5 years so i can always stay with that company too....i'm not worried but i really really wanted hershey
I got an email saying I wasn't chosen for an interview, so if you didn't get that email chances are that you'll be hearing soon to set one up. good luck yall!
