Hey Everyone,
I don't see a thread for 2015 yet, so I thought I'd start one. I'm just beginning the application process, and the clinical narrative is killing me. I precepted in trauma at a trauma center, so it was get them in, get them out: usually to a rehab. I can't think of how I might have changed their lives or had a big impact. I was able to attain great skills and do frequent assessments: neuro, neurovascular, cardio, telemetry strips, etc. and do and see some great stuff, I wish I could write about that!
I'd like to hear from anyone applying now or who applied in the past. Any pointers?
Peri-Operative and Yes she did! I talked to lynn the day I had my interview. She said the letters may take up to two weeks to be sent out from 4/15 (Wednesday) because some Nurse Manager takes longer/shorter to tell her which applicants they want to send acceptance letters too. Hopefully you'll hear good news back! :)
I am graduating from a BSN program out of state next spring and was planning on applying to the Hershey Medical Center residency program. I am looking forward to living in PA again and was wondering what the salary range was up there for graduate nurses. Where I am at currently, a graduate nurse will start around $21.00. Also, if anyone has gone through the program already or in the process of going through, what are the pros/cons of the residency program. I appreciate the guidance and hopefully end up back in PA next fall! We are ...
