Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
i took my nclex-rn this morning and now feel a little relieved and confused at the same time. walked out feeling sick because i only got 75 questions and they were all pretty much random. not many on the same subject area, just kinda jumbled. it only took me about 45 mins. and i felt like it was a little too easy; hence the sick feeling. this either means i know my stuff or i really bombed it ...idk. i came home and did the trick right away. i got the pop up saying i needed to contact pv....so i am keeping my fingers crossed that it works. i was too scared of failing to even tell my family or friends i was testing (only told my husband and closest friend) so excited to tell them all i already took it and passed but worried i won't be able too.
Today was my NCLEX exam day...I was calm before and during the exam. I had 75 questions and I know1 of 2 things: either I passed or that I have failed REALLY big. So, now the freak out has begun...lol.
I just tried the "trick" and I got the good popup so now I'm waiting for official results....this makes feel better but I would really like to have th official results.
Ok, just got my results in the mail today (wasn't expecting to get them in the mail before online), but I PASSED!!!! The trick worked for me!!! And even after doing it, I doubted it, but here I am...an RN!! :)
Does anyone know about the CA BRN, is it 2-4 weeks now to get the result? I read somewhere that they changed it from 2-4 days to 2-4 weeks to post your result in the CA BRN site. If anyone know about this or have the link to it would be great. Thanks a lot. I too have the "pop up" and took mine 2/6/10, so still waiting anxiously.
I hope I understand the question everybody is asking. I was told once you take the PN/RN there is a site you pay to get the results. I have failed the RN NCLEX. If they dont''t let you pay it does not mean necessarily you failed. They are still reviewing to make a decison. Good luck. Tiny3:p
If you go to the BRN site for CA and type your name into the permanent license verification it should come up within 4-10 days *if you passed. Several of my friends took it last week and have been able to confirm they passed already. (so no it is not 2-4 weeks online --just 2-4 weeks to get your official letter in the mail).
I took it yesterday and am positive I failed -which really sucks
Took the test this am. Was for sure I failed. Lots of meds I didn't know. I shut off at min 85. Did the trick as soon as I went downstairs to wait for friend who wAs also taking and did it then. I got the good pop up. The examiner said I could possible find out early if they post early. So anxious to find out. Will post if pbt works for me.
I'm hoping that I passed despite getting the CC page.
I still can't look at my quick results yet, and there is nothing on WI's BoN, and I did NOT get the "Good Pop Up"...but I am hoping that I still passed. After reading a bunch of messages on here, though, I am thinking that my hope is all in vain right now.
Either way, I would just like something concrete so that I can come up with a new plan of action. Do I have to go over more practice questions, content and/or test-taking strategies...or can I finally just chill?!
Either way, CONGRATULATIONS to all that passed, GOOD LUCK to all those taking it, and KEEP YOUR HEAD UP if you failed! I would obviously like to find out that I passed the first time, but the 265 questions in 5 hrs were brutal, and I think that should it be in God's plan that I retake the exam, I will destroy the NCLEX in 75 questions the second time around...I would just need to make sure I retake it before April!
LLRj i know exactly how ur feeling! took mine on 2/9 & did the trick & got sent straight to cc! i've been pretty bummed out since then. i pray the ca bon site says differently on Friday!!
What state are you in? I tried it, too, because I can't sleep either!! I got the screen that said my results are not available yet. It doesn't sound at all like what some of you are seeing. I'm in Illinois.

Yes it works!!! I just took the exam yesterday 2/10/10. I got the the pop up. Although I have not gotten my results from Pearson Vue. I saw my name on my State Board of Registration with my license #. Try your state because you do not have to pay the $7.95 for quick results or wait for 48hrs. Good Luck.
yes...but I'm still freaking out until I actually see my name on the BRN website (which will not be until late next week since they are closed friday and monday)... I really feel sure that I failed; I had 17 select alls (I started counting them after it got weird), my questions seemed easier at the end...and I only had 75 (and not 75 like I really knew my stuff...the other kind of 75 - like I was totally lost)
