Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

what state did you took it? it depends what state you took it. some state you can have the results as quickly as 24 hours, some like california, it takes 4 days to a month. you can check out their site under permanent license verification. type your name and see if anything comes up.

if you get the "pop up" saying you can't register... you probably pass! CONGRATS! enjoy your success!

Well, I took it in WI, but my license will be in IL.

Thanks so much for the info...still getting the pop-up...unfortunately I'll probably be checking it all night. I have a huge headache after that and want to go to bed...but I have a 4 year old, so not possible right now. That was TORTURE!!!

worked for me!!!! Test was yesterday at 8am, saw the good pop-up at 10, and just found my name on BON website!

I agree. Think of it logically. Since they're the ones giving the test, of course they're going to know the results immediately; it would only make sense that the system would not let one register again (regardless of what the pop up says). If one fails the exam, re-registration would be required at some point. My classmates and I have followed the accuracy of the 'pop up test' (as we call it) and it has been spot-on every time.

Keep in mind that the number of questions ultimately has no bearing on pass or fail. Staying in and answering correctly the mid- to higher-level questions consistantly however, does. One can fail with 75 questions and pass with 265. I have yet to see the pop up trick fail, but I wouldn't stake my life on it.

Well, let's hope the pop-up doesn't fail this time around. I am getting it and I am super worried about the test...walked out of there feeling horrible. So, I am praying it is acutally a fact!!!

So I tool my NCLEX- RN yesterday afternoon............got 75 questions......felt like I guessed on all of them. I keep trying the PVT and keep getting the pop-up. I hope it is true and it means I passed.........

:scrying:

Here's to hoping that the pop up test was a false negative for me

For those living in california the wait for results is horrendous. I took my exam on the 20th of Jan and still don't know for sure. I did the "trick" and still get the good pop-up. I went to a little over 220 but felt as though my questions were higher level until the end few that were more basic. I know for sure I got the last one right. I then decided that I couldn't wait any longer so I called the board. I asked if there was anything wrong with my file, fingerprints, etc and then just asked if I should start studying again (sort of a round-about way of asking if I passed or not, since they aren't allowed to say) the guy was really nice and told me that "everything looked good" and if it was transcripts that they are waiting on that is a good sign. In my opinion, in this day and age, they should send me a text message with my results. What is the point of holding out for so long!!! ANyways, if it helps others I"m trying to not stress anymore. It is what it is and at this point if i have to retake its only a few more week. Good luck to all!!!

LLRj,

Does that mean you got the cc page and actually passed or that you got the good pop up and are going to have to give it another shot?

Best of luck with your official results.

Care Bears Rock, (sweet name, btw)

I'm hoping that I passed despite getting the CC page.

I still can't look at my quick results yet, and there is nothing on WI's BoN, and I did NOT get the "Good Pop Up"...but I am hoping that I still passed. After reading a bunch of messages on here, though, I am thinking that my hope is all in vain right now.

Either way, I would just like something concrete so that I can come up with a new plan of action. Do I have to go over more practice questions, content and/or test-taking strategies...or can I finally just chill?!

Either way, CONGRATULATIONS to all that passed, GOOD LUCK to all those taking it, and KEEP YOUR HEAD UP if you failed! I would obviously like to find out that I passed the first time, but the 265 questions in 5 hrs were brutal, and I think that should it be in God's plan that I retake the exam, I will destroy the NCLEX in 75 questions the second time around...I would just need to make sure I retake it before April!
