Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?
Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Ok I understand now why the trick didn't work for me. LPN/LVNs that attend a vocational school, some schools will require you to obtain their approval before clearing you to take/re-take the NCLEX. For instance Concorde in Garden Grove which is the one I went to will be the one to clear me for a 2nd test and a 2nd ATT number. My classmate was in the same situation, he got the good "pop-up" then later failed. Now he has to do 3 weeks of mandatory NCLEX review before they would approve him for a retake. Since if we were to fail, then it would somehow adversely affect the school's passing percentage. So yea I guess I did the trick correctly however to the LVNs who went to a vocational school, for some schools the trick does not 100% work.
I hope this clears up things for some of you, I certainly did for me. Again not trying to disprove this trick, if it helps you relieve anxiety its a good thing since there's a huge wait for CA Board of Nursing. However like I said, do not put too much faith into this trick, if you think you fail STUDY, and if you think you don't know everything STUDY.
Oh no! I didn't attend vocational school, I was in the Navy and did 2yrs of bedside care which is why I was able to test without schooling. Gosh I hope it still works for me.... GRRR so nervewracking!
Well, I took the NCLEX-RN today at 8. Got home around 11 and tried the PVT. Originally I got the 'open registration...' pop-up. Just rechecked it (it's now 1:30) and it says 'delivery successful' and the 'contact your board...' pop-up. I will find out in two days and let you know. I am very doubtful - not because of the other posts - but because I really felt I failed at 75 questions. I can't believe I did that good and not know it? But I'll keep you posted.
WOW Timmy that just got me back to anxiety mode.. i graduated from Marian College and im sure i've been putting down the exact information down whenever i register and ive been doing that since yesterday.. since i dont want that happening to me, i'll just have to go back to studying but this time im going to read my saunders book rather than my exam cram book.. im just going to have to prepare for the worst. after all, there's always another try to take the test.. but it sucks having to wait so long just for a fail.. i just pray that i pass and i hope all you guys the best of luck waiting for your results! i'll let you guys know if the trick worked for me or not and i'll keep you guys posted!
I've been re-reading my orange Saunder's NCLEX-PN review book, Mosby's NCLEX-PN review book as well as my Foundation of nursing.
Also, update on my situation I think if I register as a new student I can take the NCLEX again without having to do the NCLEX review. Since Concorde paid for my exam the last time, this time if I front the $200 myself the PVT will actually work for me I guess.
how long after my test do i have to wait to do the pearson vue trick?
I tried about 2-3 hrs after I had taken my test..I just got the message that my results are not in...I tried again about 2 hrs after the first time and I am not able to go thru. with payment...I hope!!

I took the exam at 8am this morning..finished at 10 30...I go to pearson vue tried to register for a class and it just reads "Your exam results are not available at this time." Has anyone else gotten this and how long does it take for the "trick" to work..anyone know when will I be able to register or not?

well, i took my exam yesterday, and it shut me off at 156 questions. like many of you, i left the testing center in tears!! when i got home, i tried the pvt and it told me i had an open registration. so i tried again a few hours later(after the message said delivery successful) and it told me that my results were on hold. well, i checked again this morning and it told me "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board of nursing for further assistance. another registration cant be made at this time"
from what i had read on here, i know i should be happy, but i am not.... i guess i wont be satisfied until i get my quick results tomorrow(on my birthday none the less:o)!!!!!!!!!! so tomorrow will be a good birthday or a very bad one lol
