Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed. Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

im curious about that too.. any answer??

Actually, there HAVE been some people who got the "on hold" pop up and failed. Of the three people that posted what happened after getting the "on hold" pop up (that I saw), one of them ended up passing, and two of them ended up not passing. I think some people are confusing the "on hold" pop up ("The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.") with the "please contact your member board" pop up ("Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.") The "on hold" pop up does not tell you anything; it just means you have to wait longer before you can try the trick, at which point you will either get the "please contact your member board" pop up (you passed), or the dreaded credit card page (you did not pass).

i was on hold and now it is letting me open the cc page.. now i know i failed. atleast i dont have to wait for my result.. i will just prepare myself for the next test.. thank you for responding folks.. i appreciate it

Thanks for posting, servant84. Sorry to hear you didn't pass. So that makes 3 out of 4 people so far who got the "on hold" pop up that did not pass. I'm probably in the same boat as you. I took the test on a Friday in California, and have had the 'on hold' message for the past 5 days. A friend of mine took it on a Friday the week before, and she got the good pop up ("contact your member board") the very next day. If it makes you feel any better, my wife, who has been a great nurse for 34 years, did not pass on her first try, and even the instructor for the Kaplan course that I took did not pass on her first try. You'll get there soon!

Hello! I took the test this morning. As soon as I got home, I tried to do the trick. But when I was re-registering, it wouldn't let me go any further since I CANNOT SEE my school under the nursing program which you graduated. Has anyone had this same problem????

I am freaking out and cannot sit still!

Well, want to add myself to the list.... The trick worked for me. Took my NCLEX-RN yesterday morning and found out today I am an official RN. I was Soooooooo skeptical!! It is so true.!!!

Did you remember to sign in first? Click on the 'Test Taker Services' tab / Click the 'Register' button / Click 'Credit Card' / Click the 'sign in' link in the first paragraph. / Enter your Username, then your Password, then click 'Register' again. / Check the boxes and answer the questions. Be sure you enter your state and city, and then you should be able to choose your school.

"trick" by the phone? nope! its via on-line dear. at first, i tought i failed because i keep on believing on this trick. so happy that "trick" did not work c")

i hope same thing will happen to me. my heart is breaking.

if i am not mistaken, you tried the pearson vue trick using the telephone, right? the trick only works using the website.

anyway, congrats, not anymore desperate!!!

The trick DOES work; people who get to the CC page and still end up passing usually made the mistake of not signing in with their username and password first. Anyone who registers without doing that will get the CC page. So here is the bottom line, to help you avoid reading these hundreds of posts and getting all confused: First of all, you MUST first sign in with your username and password. If you get the "test results on hold" message, that means nothing. You will just have to wait. Once it changes, then you will know you passed if you get the "contact your member board" message, or you did not pass if you get the CC page.

Sorry to hear that servant.

Let me tell you... had I failed, I wouldn't have been too surprised. The exam is hard! I generally don't have test anxiety but when I saw the 1st question, my mouth got dry, my heart was pounding.. I couldn't catch my breath. I don't exactly know what or Who carried me though the test....

What did you use to study? I'm not even really going to judge you based on that because I used a lot of resources to study and STILL didn't feel prepared. Maybe you should try Kaplan. They say if you don't pass, they'll refund your money.

Good luck.

Officially an RN!!!! Saw my license today on the BON!!!!:yeah:

Keep on going and pick a different school, I ended up doing that, and the results were still the same. I passed. Good Luck
