Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Officially an RN!!!! Saw my license today on the BON!!!!:yeah:

Congratulations! i took the test yesterday. it didn't let me open the cc page but now its letting me... its killing me

Well I finished my test about 4 hours ago... checked my status and it said "Delivery Successful" so I decided to try the trick and quickly got: (which I assume is good news)

"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Do I have to wait the 48 hours to pay for the quick results? Their instructions say there should be a link to click under "status" but for me there is no link - just "Your exam results are not available at this time". Do I need to wait the 48 hours for the results to become available before I can pay for the quick results?

Took the PN boards... test cut off at 85... had about 15 SATA, 2 math, and a bunch of drugs I have never heard of before... always fun looking at the screen and your mind goes COMPLETELY blank.

Keeping my finger's crossed...

Well for me it worked! I Passed!!!!:nurse: I am offically a nurse!! Thanks to all that recomended the trick because it gave me a peace of mind for a while thru all the craziness!!

Good luck to all!!!

:ancong!::clphnds: What state did u take ur exam in. I know u must be so over joyed.

Thank You so much. I took it in california:)

Hey just wanted to post a quick reply to verify that the trick does indeed work. I was convinced that they were going to find out about it and change it before I could use it!!! I took my NCLEX yesterday at 0800 and tried the PVT when I got home (got pulled over about 7 miles away from home for speeding... but no ticket!!). I was so anxious to get home and try the trick! I have been checking the pearson vue site, but it says that my results are not available. I have placed numerous calls to the quick results service, but there again it states that my results are still not available. My results are in on the BON before the quick results!!! Who would have known? Just thought that I would give testimony to the fact that it works... Thanks to all who said a prayer for me, it really helped get me through!!!PTL:yeah:

Understood, thanks! I'm in California and we're not allowed quick results. I guess I PASSED, got the POP-UP :redbeathe

what was the pop up message?

Servant84--I can try to give you a bit of insight on the "on hold" message. Long story really short, I took my NCLEX-RN on 7/31 and soon after got the very same annoying "on hold" message and, needless to say, promptly freaked out. So anyway, 48 hours later I tried to see if my quick results were up and they weren't (despite the fact that my state does participate in that feature). So, I called the NCSBN and I was told that they were on hold because my test had been randomly chosen for review for "quality control purposes". Apparently, each day that the test is given, a certain number are randomly picked and reviewed to make sure that all the testing procedures were followed etc, etc. A few other people on allnurses.com that got that pop-up said that they were put on hold because their fingerprint cards hadn't been sent in, and one person said she got hers put on hold because she is a really fast test taker and finished the 75 nclex questions in 35 minutes (which apparently threw up a red flag, and the NCSBN pulled her test for review..I guess b/c they thought it looked suspicious). Anyway, fast forward to August 7, my results were finally released and I found out that I had passed it in 75 questions.

So, the bottom line to all of this is...if you got a pop-up (even the one that said "results on hold") and you could not go past it (i.e. you didn't go all the way to the credit card page) then there's a really, really, really good chance that you passed the test. I've never seen someone on here that got the "on hold" thing that later found out they failed. Everyone I've seen that confronted this, me included, passed the test (it just took several days to find that out...which sucked for me, cuz I'm in a state that has quick results..LOL).

So, don't worry about it...you very, very, very likely passed it.

Actually, there HAVE been some people who got the "on hold" pop up and failed. Of the three people that posted what happened after getting the "on hold" pop up (that I saw), one of them ended up passing, and two of them ended up not passing. I think some people are confusing the "on hold" pop up ("The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.") with the "please contact your member board" pop up ("Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.") The "on hold" pop up does not tell you anything; it just means you have to wait longer before you can try the trick, at which point you will either get the "please contact your member board" pop up (you passed), or the dreaded credit card page (you did not pass).

I must testify the trick is acurate - btw I live in Michigan. I took NCLEX-RN on Monday and got the famous pop up to contact my BON. Today I found out I passed!!!!! I was soooo happy because I thought I failed it! Congrats and good luck to all!:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat

Hey BSNBadazz...this is very interesting, because I took my NCLEX-RN on the same day (7/31) at 2 pm (CDT), only mine was taken in Illinois and I got the same "results on hold" message that you did. I don't know if that is simply a wild coincidence or what. Needless to say, I haven't received my quick results yet (despite the fact that IL does participate in that service). Mine still has that same pop-up message. I called Pearson this morning, and they referred me to NCSBN. The latter told me that there was some type of "quality issue" with my exam and that a person at NCSBN was going to have to review my exam. I have no clue what that means. Other posters on here that got the "on hold" message have said that it could be from any number of things. One person said it was due to her fingerprint card not being submitted. Another said it was due to a slight difference in her name as it was printed on her ATT and the computer screen. Another person said she got that message because she took the entire NCLEX (75 questions) in 35 minutes (which I thought was insane) but anyway, apparently that throws a red flag up and they review it. I have no idea why mine has to be reviewed. Oh, they also told me that it hadn't been 48 BUSINESS hours yet, and that I should check again tomorrow (tuesday) when 48 business hours have passed. That is the first I have ever heard of results not being available over a weekend. Someone on here was discussing this, and said that if you got a pop-up (no matter what it was) it means you passed. I've not heard of anyone getting the "on hold" message and then later going all the way to the credit card page. One poster that I read said hers started out "on hold" and a few days later was changed to "test already scheduled, contact your member board for assistance" and then soon after that, she got her quick results and discovered that she passed. So, what I take from all that is that things are most likely just fine but for some reason the national concil has to verify test results. I guess occasionally they have to do that. I agree with you, though, that the wait is maddening.
