Maybe I am getting desperate with this economy. I am a new grad and Ortho isn't my first choice, but right now there is an opening in the unit at an excellent hospital in my area. I don't have any experience at an ortho floor before, no rotations, etc. However, in this economy, I'll take what I could get in order to get my foot in the door. I was just wondering to all the nurses out here, why did you guys choose to become an orthopedic nurse? What's so special about it? Thanks a lot for your input. Who knows? I might end up liking it afterall.

Hi guys! Just an update. I took the test on 08/19, did the trick several hours after the test and got the pop-up message. And today I got my quick results.... I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!! I can now say that I am the 1,001st person to say that the trick does work! I mean, I kinda knew I passed as I was about to pay $7.95 just because of the PVT, but still..... so happy! Good luck to everyone who's about to take their NCLEX. All of your hardwork will pay off!

I finally found my school's program code (they changed the city since they were about to relocate). Anyways, I got the pop-up message saying I need to contact the board of nursing. I am somewhat relieved since a lot of people here say the trick works. I hope I can be the 1,0001st person to say the trick works. I'll keep you guys posted tomorrow.

Hello! I took the test this morning. As soon as I got home, I tried to do the trick. But when I was re-registering, it wouldn't let me go any further since I CANNOT SEE my school under the nursing program which you graduated. Has anyone had this same problem???? I am freaking out and cannot sit still!
