Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Just curious as to how true this is. I took the exam at 8 this morning, and it says "delivery successful" and it will not let me put in my credit card info in, it said to contact the boards. I'm from MA. I don't want to get my hopes up, so i started this thread. :)

Hey HopingtobeanRN,

NO, i didn't see my name yet either!!!!!! I called the BRN today and they said my file was complete and that I wasn't missing anything, and gave me the same answer: we have to wait 2-4 weeks. I'm getting super frustrated too! i just wanna see my name on that website!! I'll let u know if i find out....let me know if u do, too!!!

Unfortunately i dont know anyone else who took it the same day we did in CA...i wonder if the delay in results is because of the layoffs and friday closures?!

Hi Vernava...check in the morning. They are behind because of friday. My friend took it on the 22nd and she too called the BRN who told her her information was entered yesterday and to keep checking. The same thing happened to me when my information was entered on a Monday, I saw my name on that Wednesday. If you got the pop up trust it, and just be patient. It will show up.

hey how does this thing work??? I tried so many times but every time I get same pop up "select the city from where u graduated" I types my city but still I got the same pop up and i typed my school's program code too. Please tell me what to do. I just gave my test and am really worried about this test.

BDG456, Ok I would instead of try just typing the city of your school and do the search for the school. In the city not where you live but the school and it should bring it up automatically

Yeah...this is soo horrible...I know for sure my file is complete because I have taken the NCLEX RN before, but I just recently heard about this PV trick/loophole!!!! I wish I did not know about this trick because it is somehow giving me hope that I did pass...I hope I don't get dissapointed!!!!!!!!!! I might be the only person that it did not work for!!! I wish CA would just tell us, so we don't have to keep on waiting...I think I developed an ULCER from waiting for my results!!!!!!! I just want to know...so that I can continue on and start studying...right now I feel as though my life is put on hold!!!!!!! This sucks!!!!!!!!!! I will let you know as soon as I find out something...gosh this is gonna be another sleepless night!!!!!!!!!! I wish more people would come forward if they took the test on the 22nd or even the 23rd this month...then we would know if the CA BRN is really behind on the results!!!!!!!!! Hi. I just took my NCLEX today and am bitting my nails over all of the anxiety i am experiencing. I was wondering how soon this "trick" is suppose to work?? I tried it and received the pop up...i was just wondering if its too early to try the trick.

As long as it states "DELIVERY SUCCESSFUL" on the first page of perasonvue when u sign on, your good to go

I know exactly how you feel...it is such a horrible feeling!!!! I feel as though I am unable to do anything, but wait...wait...wait...and keep on waiting!!!!!!!!! I truly hope that the trick works for the both of us!!!! I wish CA would not do this to us!!!! I just want to find out already!!!! I will keep you in my prayers!!!! Thanks for your post!!!

I don't think the trick worked for me... here's my situation..

I took the test last thrusday july 23rd here in CA, ended with 85 questions. I tried the trick Friday night and got the pop-up stating I've already taken the test and I need to contact BON. It's been a full 48 hours now (not counting the weekends) and I still don't see my name on the BRN list of RNs. So it's either a. I failed, or b. i'm still missing some documents in my file such as transcript (which has happened to some of my classmates). I tried the trick again, and i'm still getting the pop-up & not letting me get to the credit card page.

Trick still works. After about a 99.9% certainty that I failed the NCLEX, I just checked my states BON online and my license states that it is now currently ACTIVE (which was previously PENDING) along with my Nurse Assistant and Health Care Assistant certifications.

So if you're for certain that you failed, yet the trick ended up working for you and you did not get to the credit card page, you can breathe a little easier...
