Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I heard that it didn't matter if you got the last question right, that the computer has already determined if you have passed or failed based on the last 60 questions you took...whether you have 75 or 265....who knows...all i know is the trick worked for me and I had 75 questions, and I passed...Good luck to all!
Yes, that is when the computer checks back seventyfive questions to see if you were above the line. Kaplan explains this in detail. If you had 265 questions and you got the last question right you automatically pass, if not, the computer will pass or fail on your past 75 questions to see if you were above or below the line.
hey ktrn29...wow are you serious? can you please tell us if you logged in first before trying this pearson vue trick!!! cause if you did then this means the trick isn't true. thanks and congratulations on passing nclex!
yes i was logged in under my name when i tried to register. i didn't get all the way to the credit card screen, but i didn't get the pop-up! scary! thanks for the congrats!!!! good luck to all!!
I believe it work I tried after 24 hrs and at 36 hrs and it would not let me register. At 48hrs i paid the 7.95 fee and i passed. I am still waiting on the state of fl to give me a license number. As an LPN to RN is was very scary I had a lot riding on this exam. Using this trick did ease the anxiety

Hi! i keep reading about the trick on and on, i wonder how to do the pearson vue trick??? pls give me some sort of advice on how to prepare for NCLEX exam, i scheduled mine on August last week, i am thinking to go Kaplan online qbank after reading some post. Does it help??? Thanks and Good luck for all of us! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!
joycee, i read hesi, mosbys nclex cards, mosbys nclex review, 3500 nclex-rn cd, nclex review CD, and then boought saunders 1 week before taking boards. off all saunders had some review questions that helped me tonz during testing time(hint)! the book is orange (there are different versions) Saunders Q&A 4th edition. If I were you knowing all the reviewing that I did and that I already have taken the NCLEX; I would had reviewed Saunders~thats it. I wish would have had someone tell me this way before taking the exam. I was readying 24/7 for two long months without a life and feeling misserable thinking I would miss information if I did not study enough. How much is enough? Saunders narrowed my thoughts to explicit answers and helped me out a lot during testing. Im greatful I bought it right on time for review.
I went to Kaplan and followed their suggestions r/t answering as many questions as I could. I did all of the practice tests and answered ALL of the Q-bank questions. I did not read a book for the disease process etc. Nursing. I would go back through the tests. When I looked at the rationales, I would pull up my Word page and would make a notation of the subject of the question and a trigger note for my memory. We have studied the information for exams in school. Right? I fealt I needed to be "refreshed" on everything. Instead of reading 24/7 and then tackling questions, I knew I needed to "hit" everything from Nursing. Once I finished all the questions, it was then reading time. I would go through once a day. I focused strictly on the questions, answers, and rationales. I figured that- with thousands of questions- I would hit every imaginable subject in Nursing. Because I was a good Nursing student, after a few times, the info was in my brain good again. What I fealt I studied was the meds. I had one set of notes for disease process etc. from the questions. I had another set of notes where I just listed meds, considerations, and side effects. I "studied" meds as groups. Instead of alphabetizing the meds, I alphabetized the groups. I then made memory triggers for them so I knew them like the back of my hand. On one of my questions, I picked the correct answer, not because I heard of the med before in my life, but because I knew the other meds so well I could eliminate them as answer choices. So, as for me, I made my own little book of question subjects and memory triggers so I could pull the info out of my brain while sitting in front of that computer. Know your meds. I had a nice amount of them. Oh yeah! I had 75 and passed. The "trick" worked for me also.

seventy five question can be either good or bad. If you pass then obviously it was good lol.
However, they say if you fail hesi with 75 question that means you had many questions wrong from the get go. It says that you were not able to pull up anymore and that is why it shut down at 75 if you failed. However, if you had 265 and you failed that tells you that you were at the line. You kept going up and down and well in the end the last question was either below the line, and the had to go back several questions to see if they all were above the line...to decide if you failed or not. If you had 265 and the last question you got right, you pass.
