Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Hello everyone!! This is my first post! I graduated with my ASN back in May, and our school had the ATI in our program and as well paid for the HESI review and both said i was above average in passing the NCLEX. yesterday i finally took my NCLEX. I have studied EVERY day for the past month and a half or so, doing 100+ questions a day and reviewing rationales/content. I did the Kaplan review book as well as Saunders book & cd questions. While doing my test today i felt pretty confident in my answers. I was asked MANY who do you see first q's, as well as immediate interventions. I also received some "all that apply", pharm, and math questions. i have heard that those type of questions are considered 'higher level' questions and mean your doing good.Well, i was so glad when my test stopped at 82 questions! Now the problem is what i've heard from a couple of friends who passed their NCLEX and did the "pearson vue trick". they received the good pop up and passed. I have not received it. It DOES allow me to continue to the credit card page. My results are not up yet on the board of nursing site. I have been stressing and crying all day wondering if i trully did fail!!? I feel like i put my all into studying every day for the past month an a half, to have to do it all over again. I trully do not know where to even begin with studying ... anyone here ever receive the credit card page on pearson vue, with minimum questions and pass?? From all the posts on here saying that the "trick" is pretty accurate, my stress and depression is pretty high right now
again--my results are still not available on the BON site
Merged with existing thread. We do not see many post that they went to CC page once it said delivery successful and still passed
Took the NCLEX this morning...had 33 SATA and it stopped at 216 questions. I did the infamous PVT and got this message "our records indicate that you recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."So what do you all think? Should I be dancing in the streets? LoL

I got the pop up " Our records show you have previously reregistered ...." and today I found out I passed. A buddy of mine was able to enter his credit card information and he failed. It does work :)

Has this ever happened to anyone??I took my test yesterday which was a wreck had a huge storm Friday night and couldn't print my ATT due to no power. Nobody had power the lady at Pearson said I couldn't show her the email on my phone or print from there. All the surrounding business's couldn't help me they didn't have power/ Internet it was a wreck and I ended up testing an hour and a half late. Rules are rules I know I'm just glad I got to test.Anyway my test cut off 75 questions I did the trick oh probally about 10 times yesterday and everytime I got the " good pop up". Today I checked again just to be sure. I know obsessive. Well I got the this candidate currently has results in hold. But I got the good pop up all day yesterday... Any ideas??I'm dying over here!

Congrats on passing.
Ppl at Pearson are less than helpful. I COMPLETELY understand there are rules but come-on, it was an extenuating circumstance.
It's bad enough there is south pressure to succeed, any little thing such as that can push you over the edge , ugh

I'm assuming your state does not participate in quick results! If you've received the good pop-up, I think it's safe to say that you've passed. Unfortunately you'll have to either wait until you're listed on your state board of nursing's website or until they send you your official pass certificate...whichever comes first!

Does the pop up come up immediately when you try to reregister?
