Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:

Ok, here is my experience. Took the NCLEX on June 14th, after I was done with all 265 questions, I was sure I failed. Cried the entire way home. One of my friends told me about the PVT trick and I tried it. Delivery was successful and it would not let me register again. Got the good message!!! Well that did not relieve my anxiety. I researched everywhere hoping the PVT was true. Everything I kept reading said it was. Still I did not believe and my depression continued. Pearson told me my results would be available on Tuesday. Ok this is Thursday and there is no way I would survive the weekend. Like everyone else I kept checking the website and still the good pop up. Checked the state board site no license. Well today is Sunday and its Father's Day and I am about to leave to go to Dad's, I decide to check Pearson one more time. My quick results are available. Yes I paid the fee and there it was PASS!!!!!!!!! I still don't think it has sunk in yet, but I am a Nurse. So the trick worked for me, I did not believe it and my stress level was out of control. My friend also took the NCLEX the day after I did, and she had 265 questions, good pop up and she found out today she passed also. So, moral to this story, until you get the real results you will not know for sure but maybe it will help someone in the same situation feel a little better. Also, you can pass with 265 questions, I am living proof.
hello all,
took nclex-rn in ca on wed 6/13. closed at 76 questions in little over an hour. fair amount of sata and pharm questions. what troubles me is i saw three people in my class take the exam with me and all of their names were listed on the brn by fri 6/15. right now i'm 50/50 on whether i passed or failed because i'm pretty sure i blew the med questions. the questions said to give "whole number" so i didn't round and only gave the whole # from my answers...is it possible that i failed the test if i failed all the med calc questions? it would make sense why my name isn't listed yet and my classmates are...the good news is i got the good pop-up that says "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time" and "delivery successful" status. that's about my only hope at this point but i was thinking maybe pv isn't letting me reschedule because i haven't paid the $150 reapplication fee to the brn yet...and once brn is paid they'll message pv and it will take me to the cc page. one of my former instructors said she had a handful of students tell her they saw the cc screen and later passed, and some who saw the good popup and later failed. out of thousands of posts that i've read over the last few days i only came across one that said she got the good popup and found out later she failed. if around 14% of people fail the first time they take it you would think there would be at least a few more people able to verify false positive results of getting good popup but failing. anyways, i had to write something because i'm done with reading. lol oh, and i'm gonna call brn tomorrow to make sure my file is ok...thanks for reading!
I just took my NCLEX-RN for California today at 0800 am. 75 questions and then blank! WHEW. Did the PVT 30 minutes later and got the good pop up. I know CA takes a while to send out info that you passed but I'm pretty sure since I got the good pop up, that I am okay. Woo Hoo. It's scary being the first one out of there ESP since I was the 7th person in.
I got the good pop up which looks like this:
over and over and over and though I could find nothing to the contrary, I doubted it myself. I wish I wouldn't have. It would have saved me countless sleepless nights. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get my results (CA-LVN) and I stressed the entire time for nothing. I passed and know for certain that it works EVERY TIME. It worked for all 28 of my classmates and every nursing exam candidate I have asked. If you get the good pop up.. rest easy. You have passed.
Took the NCLEX this morning...had 33 SATA and it stopped at 216 questions. I did the infamous PVT and got this message "our records indicate that you recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."
So what do you all think? Should I be dancing in the streets? LoL
