  1. Hey Doc X , your patient Mr. Y needs to be intubated.. he isn't responding much and he is about to code...Dr.X says " give me twenty minutes to finish my documentation. Then call code as soon as I leave .I am too tired." At first I couldn't believe my ears and said " excuse me?".. he repeats he is too tired... I went ahead and called code 🤦🏼*♀️ By the time we got started I saw him fly out the door 🤬😡
  2. Oh I guess this is how we " make it rain" here 😂
  3. Look out for one another... if you get time, check on your fellow nurses mainly if they are running around like a chicken with the head cut off... work as a team and make it happen..
  4. Hello everyone, I am waiting on my RN license by endorsement. Applied around mid of august . They took my money off the end of last month. FYI I paid for my temp license ( wish I hadn't). My online status says " missing education history". Not able to get them on the phone . I have been trying religiously every morning but no luck. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to get in touch with them. I have even emailed them 😨 Thanks
  5. It worked for me n it has worked for everyone here!!!!! Oh n when i got the good pop up..i caught myself staring at the wall in a daze...i dont know what that was...didnt know whether i should be happy..cry...or what?? Lol...but hey PVT has worked for everyone i know..so congrats!!
  6. You are welcome..and i totally understand what you mean..there were times when i felt the same way..like i just did not feel like studying..n you know what even if you force yourself you cannot study or should i say retain anything..in times like that i did thr same thing u are doing..listened to hurst..did my laundry..cooked my favorite food..and took it easy..cos your brain needs to relax too!! I would read some motivating stories online ...i forced myself to study at times..it did NOT work!! So take breaks in between..oh n btw i love you tube cos i am more of a visual learner too..like i was getting so mixed up with MG,MS,GBS,ALS... I watched videos of real people with these disorders n just listened to them talk..it worked for me cos when i saw GBS..i would remember the video..so hey what ever works for you...bottom line..STAY CALM..YOU GOT THIS N HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF..dont be hard on yourself for not sticking to ur study plan..( mine is scratched out so many times..it has holes in it..lol)
  7. I passed ..i passed...i passed.....woooohooooooo....thank god i feel so blessed.... For all who are about to give the test..just be calm ...and pray i( if you are religious).. For me if it was not for my prayers and faith..i would never have done it!! Good luck n be confident!!! If i could do it..YOU CAN!!
  8. Hey you are welcome.. If you think one topic a day is too much thats alright..break it into smaller topics..even better..i did one a day cos i didnt have a long time to prepare..but yeah just do whatever helps you..n yes i did forget the content not once not twice but over n over n over but i went back n listened to it again..like marlene says repition repition repition..no one can remember it all at one shot..you got this..just stay focus n i dont know if i mentioned it earlier or not you need to make a study calender..i got myself a planner n filled it up..before that my studying was going no where..good luck n lemme know if i can be of any help :)
  9. Well ypu are on the right track..studying 5 days a week..5 hours hmmm...hurst review , saunders, nclex 4000 .. First of all remember..as long as it is " quality time " 5 hours sounds great.. Taking breaks here n there..should be fine.. I listened to hurst..n made sure i knew my content..i did one topic a day..going slow..making sure i " understood " it . Then i moved on to practising questions from saunders..kaplan q trainers..prioritization and delegation..n exam cram cd..but really it works better if you stick to few but make sure you get the rationales... You can do this...i had a lot going on too..like a lot!! But i just prayed n focused on my hours of study..one day a time..one topic at a time..just have faith in yourself..you can do this..
  10. I listened to hurst review like twice. Did practice test from saunders 5 edition, exam cram cd, kaplan questions from the green book ( strategies) n cd that came with it.oh n a MUST is PRIORITIZATION AND DELEGATION..( only questions not case studies) thats it..do NOT use too many books..it WILL overwhelm you..QUALITY NOT QUANTITY.. GOOD LUCK..BE CONFIDENT and do NOT panic...
  11. :) :) :) hey..thanks for the kind words...i dont know what to say...so overwhelmed today...its my honor to stand by u on your wedding day...and i thank god for a friend like you..
  12. Thanks..crossing my fingers n waiting for the official result
